BATC Has a few surprises this year The first tournament is over and man did we have some good fish brought to the scales, there were over 15 10 plus pound bags brought tot the scales our first night. Most thought it was going to be tough fishing but when it was all done 16 pounds took first place. Mark Rogers and Kenny Spears won the first BATC tournament for the 2008 Season. Way to go guys. The BATC has begun a new chapter with the tournament season, we are now offering a couple of optional side pots for our anglers to enter. This is the first one of them with a Mystery Side Pot. Two of our own fishermen Jeff Daniel and Todd Daniel have graciously sponsored the Battle at the Canal fishing tournament. My apologies to all, as several unforeseen issues have come up and has delayed me from updating the web site for sometime now. The problems are getting resolved and we are cranking up for another GREAT year at the Battle at the Canal Tournament Series!!!
The 1 Limit Bait Shop Mystery Out Pot will be offered again this year, as it was a wonderful success last year, 1 Limit Bait Shop has repeated by starting the Mystery Pot off with $100. Thank you Christopher of 1 Limit Bait Shop for starting this great side pot.... . We also have been working feverishly on NEW sponsors and fringe benefits that will enhance the tournament this year. Points are now up to date as of 6/21/09 Cumulative points now reflect the current standings for all fishermen. HOWEVER one team appears to have SPLIT, if this is the case some MINOR adjustments will have to be made and points will likely be altered!!!
Gentlemen PLEASE be careful when registering for the tournaments to keep your name and partners the same on the registration paper. If there is an error in how you register and it is NOT caught the first week after the registration error it can not be undone. YOU WILL FORFEIT ANY PINTS ACCUMLATED UP TO THAT POINT!
