Well took the plunge a few weeks ago

Postby Gardner on Thu Feb 28, 2008 9:11 am

I had a 2000 Chevy Silverado with 142,000 miles on it. We had made a couple of trips over to Dale Hollow Lake for some Float and Fly action. On the first trip I burned 2 quarts of oil and on the 2nd trip I burn 1 1/2 quarts of oil. With about 10 or 11 othe rminor problems (leaking front windshield, broken passenger power window, windshield wiper motor broke, BIG dent on rear quarter panel someone left me at the ramp, broken side view mirror power motor and defroster, Drivers seat worn out down to the foam cushion and a couple of others I can't remember) with the truck, I decided it was time to trade.

And boy did I trade :!: :!: :!:

I went shopping looking at 2007 trucks because supposedly they had some great deals. I couldn't get the stealers to negotiate on the 2007's; even though they were right at 3 years old with no miles. The stealers just didn't seem to want to sell a truck... So I went out and started looking at new trucks (2008) I shopped around and came across a New Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4X4 at :bows: Fox Toyota in Clinton. Man were they willing to deal. We haggled for a couple of 3 days (of course) and then they came down to a number I could handle...So I purchased a New 2008 Salsa Red Pearl Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4X4 Limited with the 5.7 liter V8 Truck.... :coolness: :woohoo:

When all this rain and cold weather goes away I will post some pictures of my new ride.

And yes it matches my boat :!: :!: :!:
